Our flood warning systems have the ability to detect and report all five sources of flooding and operate over an exclusive secure radio telemetry band operating under an exclusive Ofcom licence.

Unique BDT Flood Level Sensor:
Now with over 10-years service history the BDT is now the widest adopted micro-power solid state water / flood level sensor in the UK, if not the world.
Early Warning Systems
Supplied to a variety of clients including the UK’s Environment Agency these beacons can be supplied with standard LED beacons or high intensity long range ship’s beacons with an optical range of up to one nautical mile.
The evacuation beacons can be supplied complete with integrated solar charging, controls and one- and two-way radio telemetry. With two-way radio telemetry the beacons can be configured to auto-report their status back to a Satellite or Radio Telemetry Gateway via which the state of charge, vandalism of the solar panels and the on/off, lamp failure can be monitored. With Radio Telemetry Gateways alarms are supplied as simple volt-free contacts enabling interface with existing on site alarms, BMS systems and SCADA.
The units in the picture below are house in an environmental toughened and air-rifle bullet proof, stainless-steel enclosure specifically designed to mount on top of a standard CCTV tower mount.
Telemetry
LEO Satellite based telemetry solution for river level monitoring – Without coverage blackspots and not dependant upon having a local ground station or cellular mast.
We offer a range of remote bespoke monitoring solutions for rivers and streams that can deliver level / flow and even temperature data in real-time from absolutely anywhere to anywhere. Gone is the need for mains power, telephone connections or cellular coverage as our LEO based satellite solution is 100% independent and does not need any form of terrestrial network.
The only deployment requirement is that the unit can see clear sky and that is it, all thanks to the Iridium LEO satellite network. Power is not an issue as units can be manufactured to operate from solar, solar + wind or just batteries.

Sensors can be 4-20mA, SDI-12 or voltage, plus there is support for two sensors for dual redundant systems, where under normal conditions readings should track, but with a faulty sensor the readings could diverge.
